Feminism is For Everybody

In case you were curious, I am a proud feminist. I'm all about female empowerment and making sure that women have the tools that they need to feel empowered as well as how to empower other women.

Destroy the Patriarchy, Not the Planet

One of the best ways I have found to live happily in my feminist action is to find other like-minded women who share my same beliefs about equality! It’s also about breaking the mold about who women are supposed to be. Staying in our lane doesn’t get us anywhere - sticking out and making a stand is what makes change happen in the world!

Pay Me Like a White Man

Being a good feminist is more than just a label, it's a way of living and treating others with respect and equality. Here are some tips for being a good feminist every day:

Educate Yourself
Read books, articles, and listen to podcasts by feminists. Learn about intersectionality, feminism's history and how it has evolved. Knowledge is power, and understanding the issues is crucial to be an effective ally.

Speak Up
Don't be a bystander when you see or hear sexist comments, jokes, or actions. Stand up for yourself and others, and challenge people who perpetuate sexism.

Be Inclusive
Feminism is for everybody, regardless of gender, race, religion, nationality, or sexual orientation. Make sure to be inclusive and recognize the experiences of marginalized communities.

Support Women
Amplify the voices of women by sharing their work, promoting their businesses, and listening to their stories. Support women in leadership positions and mentor young girls.

Shop Small
The number of female owned businesses continues to rise every year. Supporting them in business is a great way to support their growth.

Practice Self-Reflection
Reflect on your own biases, privileges, and attitudes towards gender. Recognize areas where you can improve and take action to be a better ally.

Use your voice to elect politicians who support gender equality and fight against discrimination.

Support organizations that work towards gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Talk to Children
Start conversations with children about gender roles, stereotypes, and respect. Teach them about consent, healthy relationships, and the importance of equality.

Be an Ally
Stand up for other marginalized communities and recognize that their struggles are intertwined with those of feminists.

Never Stop Learning
Feminism is constantly evolving, and it's important to keep up with the changes and continue to learn and grow as an ally.
